Meet Your Language Expert
Hello! I’m Ivana, the founder of Literata and a passionate language educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. I studied languages at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Belgrade and have taught Serbian and Italian to over 500 students.
Teaching is not just my profession; it’s my passion. I find immense joy in guiding students through their language learning journey, and my ultimate goal is to see them progress and succeed. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy staying active with tennis and adult ballet, exploring art, travelling, reading, and unwinding with a good TV series.
I’m excited to share my expertise and passion for languages with you at Literata!

What languages can I learn with Literata?You can learn Serbian or Italian through live lessons or self-paced online courses.

How do online lessons work?Live lessons are held via Zoom, Google meet or another video platform. You’ll meet with a teacher in real time, either one-on-one or in a small group.

What’s included in the self-paced courses?Each course includes video lessons, grammar explanations, vocabulary practice, real-life texts, exercises, and cultural insights — including local mentality and travel tips.

Can I study even if I’m a complete beginner?Absolutely! Our courses and lessons are designed for all levels, including total beginners.

Can I combine live lessons with a self-paced course?Yes! Many students choose to do both — study independently and get additional speaking practice in live sessions.

How big are the group classes?Group lessons are small and personal — maximum 5 students per group, to make sure everyone has a chance to speak and participate.
